Who are we?

We are Greener Power Solutions, on a mission to make the temporary energy market emission-free with our mobile batteries. We can deploy these anywhere to store and deliver energy. It's an important mission, where we could really use your help.

Your Role as a Senior Python Developer

In this role, you will be a key player in our development team, using your extensive Python expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions. You will ensure that our energy management platform, Greener Projects, is fully optimized and ready for use by clients and partners. Your focus will be on the back end, developing, refining, and maintaining core functionalities that support seamless user experiences and robust performance. Your efforts will be crucial in making our energy solutions accessible and efficient for a wide range of stakeholders. You will mentor junior developers, review code, and ensure our software adheres to the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Job requirements

• A true Greener – you want to make the world a bit better, you question the status quo, and you're always looking for ways to innovate and improve.
• Between 8-10 years of experience in web development, with a minimum of 5 years in Python.
• Plus points if you are familiar with IoT and multithreaded applications!
• Excellent mentorship skills.
• Experience with: Kubernetes/Docker, MongoDB, MySQL, FastAPI, CI/CD.
• Affinity with the energy sector is a big plus.

Please note that for this role we can only proceed with candidates who are currently living in the Netherlands and have a valid Dutch work permit.
