Job Title: Learning Mentor
Location: Bristol
Pay Range: £95 - £127.41 per day DOE
Contract Type: Ongoing, Temp to permanent contracts available
The provision:
SEMH settings catering to students who have been or are at risk of exclusion from other settings due to their exceptionally complex behavioural needs. Our provisions provide bespoke learning programmes and positive behaviour support for small groups of students that have a variety of learning difficulties tied in with exceptionally challenging behaviours.
The Role: Learning Mentor (Bristol) - (£95 - £127.41 per day)
* The school are looking to fill permanent roles - assessed after initial settling in phase
* Working with a well trained team of staff in supporting extreme challenging behaviours - Full training will be provided
* Supporting students on a 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 basis
* Working with Children who would have SEMH, ASC and Sensory processing difficulties
Essential Requirements for a Learning Mentor:
* Experience working with challenging behaviour, either within education, healthcare, or other equivalent alternatives
* You must hold a full driving licence, have access to your own car and be prepared to gain Business Insurance
* The school have specified a C in English and Maths at GCSE is required
* Right To Work in the UK, and currently resides in or close to Taunton, UK
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service, or a willingness to gain one
* Desirable - Teach Teach level 2 or similar positive behaviour management training
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community
* Flexibility to work across all age ranges as we can't guarantee age groups for these bookings
* Must be available immediately and full-time
