Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Groundworker to join major infrastructure works across the A47 improvement schemes near Norwich.
This role will support key sections including the A47 North Tuddenham to Easton dualling project and the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham scheme, delivering vital upgrades to improve traffic flow, safety, and regional connectivity.
Your Role as a CSCS Groundworker:
* Carry out general groundworks including drainage, ducting, and kerbing
* Assist with earthworks and preparation for road construction
* Work alongside plant operators using GPS-equipped machinery
* Support installation of utilities and infrastructure components
* Maintain safe working practices around heavy plant and machinery
* Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors
* Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
* Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe practices immediately
What We’re Looking For as a CSCS Groundworker:
* Valid CSCS Card (essential)
* Valid Highway Passport (essential)
* SEQOHS Safety Critical Medical (prefered otherwise must be able to take one)
* Proven experience as a Groundworker on civil engineering or highways projects
* Experience with drainage, kerbing, or ducting works preferred
* Good understanding of working around plant and machinery
* Strong awareness of site health & safety
* Reliable, hardworking, and proactive attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
