The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a high-profile project at Heathrow Airport, supporting the demolition and redevelopment of the former Terminal 1 site.
Working on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure environments, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate survey control, setting out, and as-built data across a complex demolition and enabling works programme.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain survey control networks.
Carry out setting out and verification surveys.
Produce accurate as-built surveys and records.
Support demolition, enabling works, and civil engineering activities.
Process and manage survey data using industry-standard software.
Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and Heathrow standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Engineering Surveyor on major infrastructure or construction projects.
Proficient with Leica, Trimble, or Topcon survey equipment.
Strong understanding of GNSS, Total Stations, and survey control.
Experience producing topographical and as-built surveys.
Ability to work within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
Heathrow, aviation, rail, or major infrastructure experience is advantageous
