Description
Clarence Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Coventry to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Sociology Teacher for the new academic year starting September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging Sociology lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore social issues, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve excellent academic outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Sociology at secondary level (KS4/KS5 preferred)
* Be passionate about social sciences and current social issues
* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
* Have the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities
* Show commitment to raising attainment and student progress
* Have excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
* Be a collaborative team player
