We are looking for a Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team, the electrical supervisor is responsible for driving efficient and effective performance, supporting our business strategy to maximise long term profitability. You will consistently motivate team performance, identify wastefulness and areas for improvement, and implement management instructions to make all stages of the project process as efficient and effective as possible. You will be overseeing the plan delivery of Dalkia Nuclear projects to the highest standards of process, safety & quality to ensure the clients needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Control of work on site and implementing/maintaining effective Service Delivery/Quality/Health & Safety and Environmental controls
- Supervising the day-to-day activities on site under the instruction of the Project/ Site Manager
- Deliver Setting to Work/ Pre Job-Briefs and Toolbox Talks and any other information as instructed
- Issuing of Permits to Work where there is increased safety or environmental risks
- Production of site based documentation, RAMS and Quality Plans
- Ensuring site activities comply with company procedures, risk assessments and method statements and that records are retained in accordance with the planned requirements
- Notifying Project/ Site Manager immediately in the event of a Health & Safety or Environmental accident or near miss
- Ensuring that any environmental incident is cleaned up/contained and reported immediately to the Project/ Site Manager
- Experience and capability in supervising the delivery of projects compiled of large project teams with multiple elements on a cross discipline and/or multi supplier basis.
- Brings this knowledge to bear to ensure best practice across projects.
- Supervision of all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, Resourcing and Plan Delivery of all elements of the Projects
- Provide information to assist with the Commercial/ Estimating Process
- Ensuring records are kept in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Ensuring the manpower levels are sufficient for the project
- Contributing to the implementation of new concepts and techniques
- Ensuring documented management procedures are implemented across all sites/ projects.
What you'll bring
- A proven track record in a responsible supervisory role with demonstratable success in supervising projects and people to a successful outcome.
- Experience in supervising electrical operations & projects.
- Must have demonstrated effective multitasking and operational supervisory skills.
- Electrical Qualification to NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or evidenced time served electrical apprenticeship
- AM2 or Fica
- 18th edition wiring regulations - BS 7671
- Client/contractor national safety group Passport - CCNSG
- CSCS Supervisor
- SSSTS/IOSH
For this role we will require the following clearance or the ability to gain clearances
- DBS
- CTC
