As an Administrator, you will work closely with the office team and report directly to the Office Manager. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks across the business.
Duties will include:
* Taking incoming calls and dealing with all relevant requests
* Update of spread sheets, strong Excel usage
* Producing invoices and purchase orders
* Producing valuations, spreadsheets, and programmes
* Assisting with tender process
* Communicating with sub-contractors and chasing quotes
* Setting up new quotes & jobs
* Sorting permits for site
* Supporting the Contract Managers with daily administrative tasks
* Dealing with incoming emails
* Health & Safety: - Preparing Construction Phase Plans, O&M Manuals, Site Files & RAMS
* Filing and looking after archive system
* Updating suppliers & subcontractor details
* PQQ information
* Stock taking – uniforms, stationery, and office supplies
Skills & Experience:
* Excellent communication skills written and oral
* Good IT skills in all Microsoft packages – Especially the production and upkeep of detailed Excel spread-sheets
* Must be able to work on own initiative and prioritise workload accordingly
* Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Site processes is desirable
* Willingness to learn and take initiative
