A leading, well-established organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to broaden their experience across financial reporting, controls, business partnering, and finance projects.
You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, supporting month-end activities, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Support the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and strengthen financial controls.
Assist with group reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
Manage and reconcile fixed assets, depreciation, and CAPEX reporting.
Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial analysis and insight.
Support finance transformation projects and process improvements.
Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards and control frameworks.
Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requirements.
About You
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of financial accounting and UK GAAP.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence using finance systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Proactive, adaptable, and keen to drive improvements.
Desirable
Fixed asset accounting experience.
Experience using Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
