The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Our client, a prominent company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their permanent team. This exciting role involves leading and overseeing supplier quality assurance activities across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with aviation regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier quality performance and ensure compliance with AS9100 / AS9120 standards.
Conduct supplier audits, process evaluations, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
Lead investigations into non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where required.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues and prevent recurrence.
Support supplier approvals, including qualification, monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, acting as the main point of contact for quality matters.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and cost efficiencies.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support internal and external audits, as well as customer requirements.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or aerospace quality.
Knowledge of AS9100, AS9120, or other relevant quality standards (essential).
Experience with supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with internal teams and external suppliers.
Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently while supporting cross-functional initiatives.
Working knowledge of aerospace regulations.
Ability to read and understand technical data including drawings and specifications.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word, MS Office.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
