FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Electrician to join a growing and reputable contractor operating across the Central Belt of Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and established team delivering electrical maintenance, upgrades, and compliance works across a varied residential property portfolio.
The Role
As a Domestic Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical works within occupied and void residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.
Duties will include:
✔ Electrical fault finding and repairs
✔ Consumer unit replacements and upgrades
✔ Electrical testing and inspection works
✔ EICRs and compliance testing
✔ Installation of lighting, sockets, switches, and accessories
✔ Reactive maintenance and planned works
✔ Completing certification and job documentation
✔ Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
✔ Experience working as a Domestic Electrician
✔ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
✔ Experience carrying out testing and inspection works
✔ Good communication and customer service skills
✔ Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Essential Qualifications
✔ NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
✔ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
✔ 2391 Testing & Inspection
✔ Experience carrying out EICRs
✔ Social housing or residential maintenance experience
