Key Responsibilities:
Prepare specifications and develop Stage 1 Auxiliary System design solutions, ensuring compliance with quality and technical standards.
Support and participate in the Zonal Integration process, ensuring 3D model designs reflect design intent and meet relevant standards and requirements.
Develop, maintain, and modify engineering processes and procedures in response to technical developments and operational needs.
Conduct technical analyses and investigations, evaluating and selecting technical options, and preparing reports with recommendations.
Serve as the specialist point of contact for customers and suppliers on engineering matters to resolve issues and align on priorities and objectives.
Provide guidance to less experienced team members to support their effective work and development.
Make informed engineering decisions within the scope of responsibility.
Job Requirements:
Experience in engineering within the Defence, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, or Building Services industries.
Significant knowledge and experience of shipbuilding, operations processes, and modern build strategies.
Proficiency in processes and tools used in Marine Engineering.
Experience with supplier and customer engagements.
Skilled in writing technical specifications.
A degree in engineering or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential.
