FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Electrician to join a growing and reputable contractor operating across the Central Belt of Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and established team delivering electrical maintenance, upgrades, and compliance works across a varied residential property portfolio.
The Role
As a Domestic Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical works within occupied and void residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.
Duties will include:
ā Electrical fault finding and repairs
ā Consumer unit replacements and upgrades
ā Electrical testing and inspection works
ā EICRs and compliance testing
ā Installation of lighting, sockets, switches, and accessories
ā Reactive maintenance and planned works
ā Completing certification and job documentation
ā Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
ā Experience working as a Domestic Electrician
ā Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
ā Experience carrying out testing and inspection works
ā Good communication and customer service skills
ā Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Essential Qualifications
ā NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
ā 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ā Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
ā 2391 Testing & Inspection
ā Experience carrying out EICRs
ā Social housing or residential maintenance experience
