How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join a fast-scaling social media startup at a foundational level. Backed by a major, established media company, we offer the security and resources of a large group with the speed, culture, and "blank canvas" appeal of a boutique agency.

We are looking for a strategic, social-first Account Director to act as the right-hand person to our Founding Partner. You will be instrumental in delivering world-class work for our current clients while helping to shape the agency’s future through new business and operational growth.


The Role

As Account Director, you will take ownership of client relationships and team leadership. You aren't just managing projects; you are a consultant to our clients and a builder of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Act as the primary lead for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring social strategies are innovative, measurable, and aligned with client business goals.
  • Founder Support: Work directly with the Founding Partner to scale the agency, streamline internal processes, and mentor junior staff.
  • Growth & New Business: Identify opportunities within the existing client base and play a lead role in pitching for new business.
  • Social Expertise: Stay at the forefront of platform trends (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to ensure our output is culturally relevant and technically optimised.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage account profitability, budgeting, and forecasting.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Account Manager or Account Director who wants to do more than just manage timelines. This isn't a role where you sit on the sidelines of a massive agency machine; this is an exciting opportunity to actively help build and grow a startup.

What You'll Do (The Day-to-Day)

  • Drive the Strategy & Creative: Don't just take brief templates—help invent them. You will bring fresh, creative social ideas to the table that cut through the noise.
  • Roll Up Your Sleeves: From ideation to delivery, you’ll get stuck into the execution. No task is too big or too small when we're building something great.
  • Manage & Grow Clients: Act as the trusted partner for senior client stakeholders, guiding them through the social landscape and managing relationships with commercial flair.
  • Collaborate Fluidly: Work side-by-side with our creative and production teams in a flat structure where the best idea always wins.


What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Agency Track Record: Experience as a Senior Account Manager or Account Director within a social, creative, or integrated agency environment.
  • A Social-First Mindset: You inherently get that social is more than just "posting." You deeply understand community, creators, and the nuances of platform algorithms, and you know how to turn that knowledge into creative concepts.
  • Entrepreneurial & Gritty: You have a natural drive to build things. You are comfortable with the ambiguity of a startup and energized by the chance to establish new processes.
  • Commercial Acumen: You are confident leading pitches, spotting growth opportunities, and managing high-level client expectations.
