Year 2 Teacher - Great Barr
Pay: £150-£200 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Great Barr from September on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to work in a supportive and friendly school environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Full-time Year 2 class teacher.
Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
A creative and engaging teaching style.
A commitment to raising standards and supporting every child's development.
