How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with experienced finance leaders and gain exposure to projects that will genuinely develop your career.

    About You

We're looking for an ambitious accountant who wants to continue building their career within a growing business.

    You'll ideally br:

    ACA or ACCA qualified (essential)
Trained within a Top 20, national or well regarded independent accountancy practice

Either looking to make your first or second time move from practice or have relevant industry experience in a similar role
    Excellent understanding of UK GAAP
    Strong Excel skills
A proactive approach with a genuine interest in improving processes and controls
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across the business
Experience preparing accounts for owner managed businesses, groups or complex audit clients would be highly advantageous.

    Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join a business that is genuinely investing in both its people and its finance function.

You'll become part of a collaborative, high performing team where you'll gain broad exposure, work on meaningful projects and have the opportunity to progress as the business continues to grow.
