The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Agent for their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to join a successful project team delivering a range of civil engineering and infrastructure works. The successful candidate will take a lead role in managing site operations, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
As the Site Agent your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Managing and coordinating the day-to-day delivery of works on site
Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors
Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme, drawings, specifications and quality requirements
Monitoring progress, productivity and resources, taking action to address any issues or delays
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across the site
Working closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, Commercial team and client representatives to ensure successful project delivery
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience working as a Site Agent, Sub-Agent or Senior Site Manager within civil engineering, infrastructure or rail
Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and project delivery
Proven experience managing site teams and subcontractors
A strong understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
