This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a busy project environment and play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Working closely with the project and commercial teams, you will help ensure projects are effectively programmed, monitored and delivered to programme.
As the Planner your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes from pre-construction through to completion
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Agents, Engineers and Commercial teams to monitor project progress
Reviewing programme performance and identifying potential delays, risks and opportunities
Producing regular programme updates, progress reports and supporting information for project meetings
Assisting with short-term and long-term planning, including resource and activity forecasting
Supporting the project team with mitigation strategies and recovery programmes where required
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience working as a Planner within the civil engineering, construction or infrastructure sector
Strong knowledge of construction planning and project programming
Experience using P6, Asta Powerproject or similar planning software
The ability to understand construction methodologies, sequencing and project constraints
Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
