Duties will include, but not be limited to:
· Store articles according to identifying factors while filling orders or issuing supplies from stock
· Assisting Goods Out when needed on larger consignments whilst ensuring that customer-specific packing requests are adhered to
· Responsible for ordering the consumables to suit company needs (not chemical) and maintaining aspects of PPE already approved by the Health & Safety representative
· Coordinating with the Inventory Controller, the control of restricted parts and Section 5 parts
· Generate kits from stock for assembly in a timely and orderly fashion and allocate to the shop floor
· Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace
· Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with FN UK Quality Manuals, Work Instructions and Health and Safety Instructions
· Carry out any other reasonable duties as seen fit by the Stores Supervisor or the Supply Chain Manager
Essential Skills:
· Counterbalance forklift truck license (Preferred)
· Experience in a warehouse environment
· Good communication skills
· Excellent numeracy skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to follow processes accurately
· Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks
· A professional and enthusiastic attitude to the job role
Pay and shifts:
Hourly Pay: £12.82 - £13.50 dependent upon experience.
If you work extra days on Friday or Saturday this is paid at time and half – available but optional. Very rarely work Sunday or Bank holidays but if do it is double pay.
Set shift hours are Monday – Thursday 6.30am – 4.20pm (37.50 paid hours)
