How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join a growing and established business supplies company in South East London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that supplies a wide range of products and solutions to businesses, including:

    The Role

    As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of business customers while identifying new opportunities to grow revenue across the company's extensive product range.

    You'll be selling consultatively to SME businesses, understanding their requirements, and providing tailored solutions that deliver value, efficiency, and cost savings.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and grow relationships with existing customer accounts.
    Identify and secure new business opportunities within SME organisations.
    Promote a broad range of workplace products and services.
    Conduct customer meetings both remotely and face-to-face.
    Generate quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
    Cross-sell and upsell additional product categories into existing accounts.
    Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly revenue targets.
    Build long-term partnerships with decision-makers and procurement contacts.
    Monitor market activity and identify opportunities for growth.
    Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.

    What We're Looking For

    Essential Experience

    Proven experience in B2B sales and account management.
    Previous experience selling office supplies, stationery, workplace consumables, hygiene products, branded merchandise, print solutions, office furniture, facilities supplies, or related products.
    Strong background in selling directly to SME businesses.
    Evidence of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    Experience managing customer accounts and developing long-term business relationships.
    Confidence identifying opportunities and converting prospects into customers.

    Ideal Background
