Our international client (tobacco industry), in the Amsterdam area, is expanding their Finance department.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Manager (m/f/x) to support the treasury operations, trade finance, and cash flow management.
In this role, you will help ensure the company's financial stability by managing debt facilities, liquidity and risk exposure, while providing accurate and timely financial insights.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in handling bank loan facilities, managing loan agreements, and maintaining effective relationships with financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities of the Treasury Manager in Amsterdam:
- Manage debt facilities and loan agreements with banks to ensure efficient cash flow management and maintain the company's liquidity position
- Develop and monitor the budget and financial liquidity plan and budget
- Provide expertise on liquidity, interest rate, and market risks in collaboration with the Treasury Director
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, credit facilities and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and compile monthly financial and treasury reports with precision and timeliness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrating bank trade finance facilities, treasury and cash management.
- Proven experience in handling and managing bank loan facilities is a must. Experience in the tobacco industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of banking transactions, cash flow forecasting, and risk management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to meeting deadlines
- A hands-on, proactive professional with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent communication skills in English
