At Greenhouse Sustainability, we believe data is the key to solving the climate crisis. We help businesses—from the innovative Dutch horticulture sector to global agricultural chains—understand and reduce their environmental footprint through cutting‑edge Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs).
Our mission is growing, and our team is growing with it. We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our development team. This is a role designed for someone who has a solid foundation in modern web development but is looking for a place where they can truly shape their professional identity.

What you’ll be doing- You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the tools our clients use to gain crucial environmental insights.
- Build, maintain, and scale modern systems, primarily in Zoho Creator, working with forms, workflows, Deluge logic, reports, and integrations.
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React, architecting reusable components using hooks and clean front‑end patterns.
- Collaborate with product owners and internal stakeholders to make UI and UX decisions (as we have no dedicated design team, your input here is vital).
- Integrate React applications with Zoho Creator as the backend data and logic layer.
- Work extensively with APIs, dynamic data, and complex application state.
- Ensure high code quality, performance, and consistency across the frontend.
- Improve and extend existing Zoho‑based systems with custom React frontends.
- Translate business and functional requirements into practical, user‑friendly interfaces.
- Use modern AI tools to support and accelerate your everyday development work.
- Adaptability & Growth Mindset: You aren't "set in your ways." You are eager to learn new technologies and happy to switch between traditional coding and low‑code solutions.
- Full‑cycle interest: You are interested in the entire development process, from understanding a business need to delivering a production‑ready feature.
- Product thinking: Comfortable making UI and UX decisions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- A Collaborative Problem‑Solver: You work well independently but know when to reach out. We value efficiency—we’d much rather you ask a question than lose hours searching for a solution alone.
- Modern workflow: Familiarity with (or a strong interest in) using AI tools to improve development speed and quality.
- Experience with Zoho Creator or similar low‑code platforms.
- Familiarity with design systems or UI frameworks.
- Experience working on data‑heavy or dashboard‑style applications.
- Performance optimization experience.
