Are you a proactive, dynamic and driven analyst with experience in the real estate sector? We are looking for a Portfolio Management Analyst who is ready to shine in our Portfolio Management team. You'll be part of a diverse, dynamic team, working alongside colleagues from all over the world, based in either Amsterdam or London.
What you’ll do
- Support the senior Portfolio Management team in tracking, analysing, and actioning strategic priorities.
- Measure and report on portfolio and country level quarterly targets across all key property performance metrics (i.e. Occupancy rate, leasing statistics, customer retention, portfolio exposure).
- Work closely with the rest of the Portfolio Management team and other teams within the business to coordinate and drive country-specific initiatives.
- Perform in-depth asset- and portfolio-level analysis (leasing, occupancy, Capex, NOI, etc.) and prepare high-quality reporting on past, current and projected performance.
- Demonstrate strong commercial asset and market knowledge enabling you to explain the portfolio’s performance.
- Combine new and existing data to create business insights, and communicate through dashboards, presentations, and reports.
- Build relationships across departments to ensure we’re appropriately managing key business metrics and processes like lease administration, onboarding, arrears, system issues, governance and sustainability.
- Track and drive progress on other workstreams such as creation and management of the reporting policies and procedures.
- Prepare presentations to C-suite, shareholder meetings and asset management leadership team.
What you’ll bring
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with expert command of Excel. Knowledge of Yardi, Salesforce is a plus.
- Three to six years’ experience in a relevant area, ideally in private equity, audit, consulting or asset management, and preferably with a focus on real estate.
- A strong academic background (Master degree) in a relevant area, for example in Finance or Real Estate studies.
- Ability to manage and oversee many projects and ad-hoc requests at the same time and skill in prioritizing tasks.
- Your excellent problem-solving skills. You know how to solve problems and have the tenacity to get things done.
- Commercial mindset and great communication skills. You understand the numbers and you can explain to others what they mean.
- Superb interpersonal skills. You’re a team player who thrives in our fast-paced environment and can juggle priorities effectively. You have a knack for building relationships across all areas within a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding command of English. Additional language skills are a plus.
