LANXESS is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take charge of our maintenance operations at our Botlek site. As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a skilled team covering operational maintenance, turnarounds, reliability, and inspection. Your mission: keep our facility running safely and smoothly, while driving continuous improvement and innovation. You’ll be part of the site management team, influencing strategy and delivering on key business objectives.

• Lead and inspire the Maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all internal and legislative requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through KPIs and best practices.
• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance—always safe, on time, and within budget.
• Take decisive action during breakdowns and critical situations, safeguarding safety, environment, and cost.
• Collaborate across the site to deliver BU requirements and contribute to strategic decisions.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in maintenance within chemical manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge (including BRZO compliance).
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Expertise in change management and driving improvement.
