On an early morning in Zaltbommel, DHL’s sorting center comes to life. Conveyor belts hum, trucks come and go, and the first parcels are processed. Here, in the beating heart of logistics, you work as a Logistics Operator, helping ensure smooth and on-time deliveries.
Picture this: a webshop receives an order. Behind the scenes, the parcel begins its journey. Once it arrives at the sorting center, you’re the one who takes it in hand. You load and unload trucks, place parcels on the conveyor belt, and sort them into roll containers. From small boxes to large packages — you make sure everything ends up in the right place. It’s an active job that keeps you moving, surrounded by a team full of energy and teamwork!
Flexibility is key at DHL. We work in a three-shift system from Monday to Sunday.
Day shift: 06:00/07:00 – 15:00/16:00
Evening shift: 16:00 – 23:30
Night shift: 23:30 – 6.30/7.00
You’ll be working at DHL in Zaltbommel. The company is located on the De Wildeman industrial estate, along Heksekamp. It’s easily accessible by car via the A2, and also easy to reach by bike. From the Bommelsekade bus stop, it’s about a 10-minute walk.
In this modern sorting center, you’ll be working with around 350 colleagues. Together, you process up to half a million parcels every day from both domestic and international origins. It’s a dynamic workplace where the sorting machines run non-stop.

What you bring:
You’re physically fit and able to handle active work—important since you’ll be on your feet and moving around a lot.
You speak English or Dutch, so you can communicate well with your colleagues.
You have your own transportation to get to the sorting center.
You can work in 3 shifts (every week an other shift).
You can work minimum 24 hours.
Experience in logistics is a plus—for example, as a warehouse worker or forklift driver. But don’t worry if you don’t have that experience yet—we’re happy to teach you everything you need to know!

€29.42 per hour on Sundays
