In this role, you will be part of a close-knit and hardworking team. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that all tasks are carried out as efficiently as possible so that the workday can be completed together. For this position, it is important that you are flexible with your working hours. Until september, the role is for 32 hours per week (monday to friday). After that period, there may be an opportunity to increase to 40 hours per week, subject to good performance. The exact working time have not yet been finalized. You should be available to work flexibly between the earliest start time of 7:30 a.m. And the end of the last shift at 7:00 p.m.
As a supply chain order picker, you will have your own trolley with boxes in which you organize the orders. Once the boxes are filled, you place them on a conveyor belt, allowing them to be automatically transported to the next department. You will use a handheld scanner in combination with a voice-picking system. This system will be thoroughly explained to you during a training session on your first working day.
Most of the work takes place in the warehouse, where you will pick products. Some products are located in a cooled and/or freezer area. For this, you will receive a warm jacket. You will pick the required products there and then return to the warehouse.
Eventually, you will become familiar with all departments as packaging and loading within the warehouse, allowing you to be flexibly deployed wherever needed. At the end of the workday, you ensure that the workplace is left neat and organized. For example, you will remove products from boxes and prepare them for the next day. Together with the team, you also help ensure that the warehouse remains clean and tidy.
In addition to the enjoyable and varied work, you will also have lunch together with your colleagues, which is provided by the employer.
