About Us:
At Eurofins Agro, we're at the forefront of innovation, and our Alaas Department is a prime example. We empower partner laboratories worldwide to establish labs swiftly and cost-effectively. Our unique approach involves leveraging Near Infrared (NIRS) technology to connect these partner labs with Eurofins Agro Wageningen. As a result, we facilitate lab setup, ensure successful market introductions, and foster collaboration across continents. Currently, we collaborate with labs in South America, Africa, Oceania, Asia, and Europe. The team is an enthusiastic group, with colleagues who also live/work abroad, therefor English is the man language.
Role Overview:
As an ASM, your pivotal role involves supporting clients and ensuring smooth operations. You have the flexibility to work both from home and the office, with occasional travel abroad. This full-time position encompasses the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Client Assistance:
- Communicating with clients via phone, email, and client visits.
- Ensuring accurate and high-quality information is provided to clients.
- Coordinating sample orders and sample delivery.
Report Management:
- Organizing report work lists to ensure timely reporting to clients.
- Following up on result progress with lab staff and subcontract labs as needed.
Additional Tasks:
- Handling back-office tasks, including more in-depth agricultural questions.
- Managing administrative aspects of quotations.
- Monitoring our quality control system.
- Overseeing debit control.
- Tracking samples that exceed turnaround time (TAT).
- Providing weekly reports on TAT, problems, samples, and finances.
- Maintaining close contact with internal customer service to address issues.
- Collaborating with account managers and product managers on strategic points.
Qualifications
- Minimum HBO-level education (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills, including in English speaking/writing.
- Affinity with the agricultural sector and an understanding of the implications behind samples.
- Familiarity with Eurofins Agro products is essential for addressing initial customer inquiries.
- Proficiency in office software tools.
- A positive and professional attitude, not afraid to take responsibility.
- Willingness to travel independently (eventually).
