As part of Corporate Treasury, TGBV is the In-House Bank for the Telefonica Group (the Group). Its main objective is to optimise liquidity management at group level via a cash pooling structure, concentrating most of the cash generated by different Group Companies (GCs).

Core activities evolve around the consolidation of the cash positions of the GCs and balance all the bank accounts and pooling structures (MNCPs) in a proper and efficient way. Besides these, there are several administrative and reporting activities to be considered, such as contract maintenance with both GCs and external banks, interest accrual bookings & reconciliation, cash position reporting, etc.

What will be your mission?

This vacancy provides the opportunity to have an in-depth look at the Liquidity Management processes of the Group. The candidate will be part of the team that determines the daily cash position and efficiently funds the various banking structures in a timely manner. The team also takes care of several activities related to the monthly closing and preparation of daily / monthly reports.

What capabilities are we looking for in you?

• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, RPA and AI knowledge is considered a plus
• Ability to have a practical and proactive approach to problem solving, willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment with great learning potential, attention to detail/accuracy, build collaborative relationships, resilient to stress and take ownership
• Minimum level of English C1, Spanish will be considered a plus.

How will you contribute your capabilities to the purpose of the role?

• Consolidation of daily cash position.
• Initiating various bank transfers and follow up on arrival.
• Preparing daily reports on cash position.
• Elaboration of monthly reports.
• Assist in closing activities.
• Take care of Group Company requests.
• Monitor financing to Group Companies.
• Interest accrual bookings.
• Prepare short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity forecasts.
• Prepare GCs agreements at hand.
• Maintenance online banking profiles for the company and for GCs.
• Internal account maintenance.
• KYC support for banking relations.

What other aspects do we value?

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance / Double Degree in Law and Business Administration.
• The ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of relevant experience.
