With the introduction of bol Financial Services, we are integrating payment and financing services into our platform. These entities, which are yet to be licensed, must comply with PSD3 and CCDII. This demands Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes that are 100% audit‑proof. As a CDD Quality Reviewer, you’ll assess the quality of case files, identify trends, coach the team toward professional maturity, evaluate reviews against Wwft and other standards, translate findings into improvements, and ensure colleagues apply our CDD principles consistently. For complex cases you’ll apply a four‑eyes role to confirm audit‑proof documentation.

Guiding a team that knows our internal processes inside out into the world of CDD. You have in‑depth knowledge that your colleagues still lack. How do you discuss and measure quality without becoming a pure auditor? How do you coach colleagues effectively without hierarchical authority? The portfolio’s complexity is growing, demanding proportional action. Your decisions set the standard for future cases – requiring CDD expertise, coaching skills, and the ability to deliver under time pressure.

What you’ll do as a CDD Quality Reviewer

You’ll work on the CDD team that will perform Customer Due Diligence for bfs. The team reports to the Manager of CDD Operations and consists of junior, mid‑level, and senior CDD analysts. You bring high‑level expertise in this area and partner with analysts to professionalise the CDD domain and make “first time right” the standard.

You assess and evaluate the quality of case files with a dual focus on integrity and risk management. You identify trends, areas for improvement, and translate them into actionable feedback, reports, and recommendations. For critical decisions and complex cases you implement the four‑eyes principle: review alongside the analyst, verify research, and confirm audit‑proof documentation. You coach and guide the team in applying CDD principles through knowledge sessions, case studies, and relatable examples. You embed improvements in work instructions and policies, build bridges with stakeholders (Compliance, Legal, Fraud, Risk, product teams), and contribute to a new system that places quality standards front and centre.

Why you can make a difference

You have 5+ years of experience as a CDD/KYC reviewer, analyst or specialist, preferably with coaching or quality control responsibilities. You’re well‑versed in Wwft and relevant integrity legislation. Experience in e‑commerce or online platforms is welcome. You make quality tangible and discuss it constructively, helping teams grow rather than reprimand mistakes. You possess excellent stakeholder skills, can win buy‑in without formal hierarchy, work carefully yet quickly, and always keep the big picture in sight.

Where you’ll land

You’ll join the CDD team within bol’s FinTech organisation, performing Customer Due Diligence for bol Financial Services. The team handles four core CDD processes: onboarding, monitoring, transaction monitoring, and off‑boarding in response to financial‑economic crime. This role reports to the Manager of CDD Operations and works closely with CDD analysts, Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, and Fraud. The team is building a new CDD capability from 2026 onward, so you’ll be there from the start. The atmosphere is professional and results‑driven, aiming to let compliance facilitate innovation. Your work directly impacts bol and future payment convenience. This position can be a springboard for career growth, especially with planned expansion to 25‑40 members in two years.
