Stayokay Vondelpark en Stadsdoelen is Stayokay's largest hostel and has recently been renovated, including a brand new restaurant The 5th with an open kitchen and delicious food. In The 5th, also known as the living space, all our guests can enjoy good food, drinks or just casually working. If you work for us, you can enjoy the relaxed vibe atmosphere and you will have a lot of fun with colleagues and our guests.
Our Back of house team are responsible for the successful execution of our menus and as part of our kitchen team you will be responsible for all the back of house functions. Are you prepare to learn all the skills needed? Then we are looking for you in the position of Kitchen Employee!
You will...
- cooking for our guests
- washing dishes
- working together with your colleagues in the kitchen, but you don't mind working independently either
- deal with everything related to the kitchen, from checking orders to maintaining kitchen utensils
- keeping everything in the kitchen and back of house clean and safe.
- learn the HACCP quality system.
You have...
- a passion for cooking
