At SSI SCHAEFER we are looking for a proactive, independent Health & Safety Advisor who takes workplace safety and compliance to the next level!
Your main tasks are:
- Maintaining and improving the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and EU health, safety, quality and environmental legislation
- Keep administration up-to-date and accessible
- Communicate, consult and advise at all levels within the company, from employees to senior management
- Ensuring that colleagues have sufficient knowledge and tools in the field of HSE
- Carry out risk assessments and safety inspections and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions (working with local supervisors)
- Develop and provide training and education to improve HSE knowledge within our organization.

Jouw kwaliteiten
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably in the field of Health & Safety
- At least five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical environment
- Extensive knowledge of laws and guidelines in the field of HSE preferably in an international environment
- Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
- You are able to convince and train others in your field
- In addition, you have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Dutch and English.
