Your responsibilities as a Customs Administrative Assistant:
- Customs documentation: You prepare customs and transport documents for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring everything complies with current laws and regulations so flights can depart on time.
- Checks and corrections: You review declarations, identify discrepancies and make corrections to ensure shipments move through the DHL network without unnecessary delays.
- Data processing: You accurately enter and update information in internal systems and MS Office, ensuring colleagues on the floor and customs authorities always work with correct and up?'to?'date data.
- Collaboration with customs colleagues: You coordinate files with your colleagues in the customs department to ensure all documentation is complete and shipments can be released on time.
- Shift work: You work morning, afternoon, evening and night shifts in a 24/7 schedule at the Schiphol location, maintaining flawless administration even during busy peak periods.
