Your Tasks
Performance Analysis and Tracking:
- Monitor and analyze performance against market metrics, own&develop methodology.
- Develop market model and potential analysis and sizing based on market research.
- Ensure the data quality of market and other research; interpret and draw conclusions.
- Track performance relative to targets, including forecasting and budgeting.
Business Modeling and Support:
- Develop business models and support new initiatives through sensitivity analysis and scenario planning (Business Cases).
- Conduct performance driver analysis and continuously enhance dashboards for decision support.
- Own the forecasting process with the involvement of several stakeholders.
Planning and Analysis:
- Plan user base and revenue projections.
- Analyze user base through segmentation and user behavior insights.
Content and Team Management:
- Collaborate on content performance analysis with the Digital Content Manager and Content BA.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to junior business analysts.
Data-Driven Solutions and Strategy:
- Map, track, and understand the business needs of digital product teams requiring data-driven solutions.
- Support the prioritization of needs based on potential business value creation.
- Actively participate in strategy creation and planning, formulating recommendations, and supporting KPI forecasts.
- Develop recommendations for measurements, KPIs, and data-driven solutions.
Project and Reporting Management:
- Participate in projects representing the data domain to achieve business objectives.
- Specify and manage reporting systems related to digital products, including indicator definition and design drafting.
- Support designated business areas by conducting analyses, preparing presentations, and communicating results from high-complexity projects.
- Specify needs for reporting development, analysis, data science, and data marketplace based on business requirements.
- Manage projects related to collaboration between digital product teams and the data domain.
- Utilize analytical tools (Google Analytics, Similarweb, Gemius, Nielsen) and communicate relevant results.
- Track and verify area reports.
Your Profile
- Relevant higher education degree (economics, mathematics, computer science, or social sciences).
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in business analysis, strategy, or data fields.
- Data visualization skills.
- Experience with PowerBI, SQL preferable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills in both English and Hungarian (both spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Analytical skills, including financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and scenario analysis using MS Excel.
- Familiarity with subscription-based business models or digital products.
- Openness to researching and understanding the streaming business.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Your Team
Our team is based at RTL Liget. The working language is Hungarian, but proficiency in English is also required for this position.
