About the RoleWe are seeking a talented candidate with a strong quantitative educational background and trading spirit to join our team. As a graduate trader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated trading strategies in the markets where we are active.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis of the carbon, power, and gas markets using advanced mathematical and econometric models. Identify trading opportunities, market trends, and price patterns to develop profitable trading strategies;
- Evaluate and manage trading risks to ensure the overall stability and profitability of the trading portfolio. Employ risk management techniques to mitigate market exposure;
- Build and maintain trading models using programming languages like Python;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, sales, analysts, and tech, to contribute to the overall trading strategy and execution.
- You hold a quantitative master’s degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, applied mathematics, econometrics, physics, or other related fields with outstanding grades;
- Relevant experience in on-exchange trading of power, gas, or carbon is a must (at least an internship);
- Experience gained in financial markets (either study or work);
- Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL;
- Fluent in English;
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in an accurate and structured way;
- You like to set up things from scratch.
