OTC Flow continues its journey towards becoming the market leader in the environmental commodity sector. We are actively seeking a graduate trader to join our expanding team based in Amsterdam and grow together.

OTC Flow is a leading environmental commodity trading company with offices in Amsterdam and Paris. We provide trading liquidity in a broad range of financial-environmental instruments.

We are seeking a talented candidate with a strong quantitative educational background and trading spirit to join our team. As a graduate trader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated trading strategies in the markets where we are active.

• Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis of the carbon, power, and gas markets using advanced mathematical and econometric models. Identify trading opportunities, market trends, and price patterns to develop profitable trading strategies;
• Evaluate and manage trading risks to ensure the overall stability and profitability of the trading portfolio. Employ risk management techniques to mitigate market exposure;
• Build and maintain trading models using programming languages like Python;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, sales, analysts, and tech, to contribute to the overall trading strategy and execution.

• You hold a quantitative master’s degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, applied mathematics, econometrics, physics, or other related fields with outstanding grades;
• Relevant experience in on-exchange trading of power, gas, or carbon is a must (at least an internship);
• Experience gained in financial markets (either study or work);
• Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL;
• Fluent in English;
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work in an accurate and structured way;
• You like to set up things from scratch.
