- You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English. Additionally, we would like it if you speak Dutch or are willing to learn.
- You are excited about RTL, media, journalism, or their role in society.
- Giving and receiving feedback is something that comes as second nature; you want to grow yourself and the people around you.
- You excel in coding both in C# and web technologies (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, React, Next.js) and have a thorough understanding of the .NET framework and frontend frameworks and languages.
- You know or are interested to learn how to apply mature development practices like automated testing, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
- You deliver high-quality clean code, adhering to the SOLID principles, and have experience leveraging software design patterns like domain-driven design.
- You have experience working in an agile SCRUM team.
- You have an interest in (gen)AI.
- You live in the Netherlands and can work together with the team in our Hilversum office at least 2 times a week.
- You are passionate about technology and always eager to learn new things.
- You are diligent and kind, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Your Tasks
- Contribute to the features of your development team by designing, building, and operating features end-to-end.
- You work on both the website for the end-users and the CMS for internal users (marketers and editors).
- You closely collaborate with the UX designer and CRO specialist to improve the user experience and conversion rate.
- You talk to the business and understand their needs over their asks, trying to optimise value creation for the products that you work on.
- You contribute to your chapter, improving our engineering practices and growing the development teams across the company.
- You don't mind contributing outside the area of expertise; in the end, it is more important to get a feature out well than it is to get your part done.
- You help and coach more junior developers in growing and delivering features.

Videoland is one of the major online streamers in the Netherlands with big ambitions. You will be working in our multidisciplinary Videoland Landing team. This team focuses on attracting new subscribers by providing potential customers with the best "landing" experience.
