Over het werk
As a warehouse administrator, you are the central point of contact on the work floor for all administrative logistics processes. You will be working in Hoofddorp, with the flexibility to work 32 to 40 hours per week. In this position, you have plenty of opportunities to grow within the organization, and several training courses are available to further develop your professional skills. The role is intended for the long term, offering a stable perspective for your career.
You start your day by checking the incoming and outgoing goods and making sure all orders are correctly processed in Dynamics. You review the day's priorities, update customer and shipment information, and ensure the administration is accurate and up to date.
As the day gets underway, you coordinate orders and communicate with customers, carriers, drivers and warehouse colleagues. You make sure everyone has the right information and that shipments, storage and warehouse activities are progressing as planned. You also prepare shipping documentation and keep a close eye on inventory and any changes in the planning.
During the day, things can change quickly. When an order is adjusted, a shipment is delayed or an issue occurs in the warehouse, you take action, update the relevant information in the system and coordinate with the right people to find a solution.
You regularly switch between administrative tasks, customer contact and the warehouse floor. You keep an overview, spot potential issues before they become problems and look for ways to make processes more efficient. By the end of the day, you make sure the administration is complete and everything is ready for the next day. Accuracy, organisation, communication and a strong customer focus are key throughout your day.
