In this role, you lead the translation of customer needs into robust electronics architectures and high-performance designs, ensuring requirements are complete, feasible, and aligned with system goals. Working closely with customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and high-tech equipment sectors across the Brainport region and beyond, you act as a trusted technical partner, helping develop advanced systems where speed, accuracy, power, and efficiency are critical, including semiconductor inspection and metrology solutions, lithography subsystems, electron microscopes, and precision analytical equipment.
What excites you as a High-Voltage System Architect? From our office in Eindhoven or on-site with our customers, you’ll take the lead in the following aspects of development:
- Define and drive system direction by translating customer needs into clear requirements and a scalable electronics architecture. You actively challenge and refine requirements to ensure robust and production-ready solutions.
- Own technical responsibility end-to-end, covering the full lifecycle from concept and architecture through design, integration, verification, and validation, ensuring system performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Act as a primary technical interface towards all stakeholders, from engineering teams to customer management, aligning technical decisions with strategic goals and building long‑term partnerships.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, setting technical direction and ensuring execution excellence, while mentoring and coaching engineers to raise the overall competence level within the team.
- Shape project feasibility and direction by defining solution concepts, assessing technical risks, and providing substantiated estimates for scope, cost, and planning.
- Advise on strategic technology choices, guiding customers and internal stakeholders on architecture, innovation paths, and capability development in high‑voltage and high‑tech domains.
- Drive successful system integration and acceptance, ensuring a smooth transition from development into operation, including knowledge transfer and strengthening customer capabilities.
Sound good so far? We'd love to tell you more…
This is what you bring to the table- An academic degree in electronics or electrical engineering, complemented by at least 10 years of professional experience, including several years in an Architect role.
- Several years of experience in high voltage system design and development (high precision, low power and high stability)
- Strong understanding of safety practices and relevant electronics standards (IEC 61010 and IEC 62368)
- Understanding of partial discharge effects and insulation reliability in high‑voltage precision systems
- Experience with simulation and analysis of high‑voltage circuits in precision electronic equipment (e.g., using SPICE‑based tools)
- Demonstrable analytical skills, able to think in concepts and good practical skills (build and measure prototypes)
- Excellent communication skills, both with internal stakeholders and with customers and suppliers
- Flexible 32‑40 hour working week, with room to work from home.
- A healthy work‑life balance is very important to us. We have 28 holidays with an option to acquire an additional 12 holidays.
- You will work with passionate colleagues who share your drive for technology and business success.
- By combining our expertise in software, electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, mathematics and assembly, we make the impossible possible for our customers and get to work on challenging high‑tech projects.
- You get a lot of freedom and responsibility; after all, you know exactly what you are doing.
- Personal coaching and a training budget of €6000 per year, so that you can continue to develop yourself.
- We also find it important to have fun together. We organize a lot for our employees, from family festivals and sparkling Christmas parties, to inspiring knowledge sessions for the high‑tech community.
- You will be working at a prime location in the heart of the Brainport region. You will be working on the Sioux Campus and can use our Sioux Labs living room every day for lunch, sports, making music, and sharing your knowledge with colleagues in one of our Tech Labs.
We can tell you all about the typical Sioux‑culture and the high‑tech challenging projects. About how you can develop yourself, like nowhere else. But we’d rather have you hear it from our own employees.
