What you will be doing As a Senior Unity Developer, you will assume a pivotal role within an independent development team, taking charge of the technical design and implementation of various projects. Working collaboratively with designers, artists, and fellow developers, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our projects. Your responsibilities- Collaborating with the team and stakeholders to craft a comprehensive technical design for our games.
- Developing the game's code with a focus on maximizing the reuse of existing modules and libraries, while designing code for seamless adaptability in future projects.
- Ensuring the game's technical correctness and optimize its performance.
- Contributing holistically to game development, incorporating technical, artistic, and design considerations.
- Engaging with clients to understand and document precise technical requirements for games, maintaining formal documentation.
- Formulating and refining the company's technical vision for the future as an integral part of the engineering team.
- Creating the UI, aligning it with UX designs and artwork provided by other team members.
- Designing, implementing, and documenting APIs to enhance the functionality of our games.
- Providing valuable input and ideas on various aspects of product design, extending beyond web technology.
- Communicating effectively with customers, understanding and documenting technical requirements for dashboards in formal documentation.
- Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience.
- Extensive experience with the Unity game engine.
- Proficient in C++/C# and object-oriented programming.
- Experience in developing for PC/Mac, web, and mobile platforms.
- Strong software design and development skills.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.
- Solid understanding of vector mathematics and algebra.
- Ability to clearly comment and document code, adhering to specific code standards.
- Proficient in using Git or similar version control.
- Experience with debugging and optimizing software.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently.
