The team of Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam is immediately looking for a Chef de Partie.
What will you be doing?
Are you an enthusiastic kitchen assistant with a passion for cooking and an eye for detail? We are looking for a dedicated colleague to join our team in the heart of Amsterdam who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. In this role, you will prepare dishes according to recipes and have the opportunity to take orders. Your tasks will also include portioning, garnishing, and preparing dishes, as well as dishwashing. You ensure that the kitchen remains clean and organized and are skilled in handling kitchen equipment, dishwashing machines, and knives. You are attentive to enforcing and implementing all HACCP regulations and enjoy contributing ideas to refine the menu and improve recipes.

In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Conveniently located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible from the highway, it’s a prime destination.

Your qualifications
You have a completed vocational education in culinary arts.
Experience as a chef is a plus, but not required. You can learn everything within our team.
You can work efficiently and hygienically according to HACCP guidelines.
You have a passion for cooking and an eye for detail.
You have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!
What do we offer you?
An uplifting position of 38 hours in the heart of Amsterdam.
A salary in accordance with the Hospitality collective labor agreement, 2645,41 EUR to 2752,35 EUR, based on a full-time contract of 38 hours and depending on your experience.
A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. We want you to stay with us!
