Through our partnership with SAP, our SAP-certified practitioners provide expertise and implementation services leveraging the latest technologies, including S/4HANA On-Premise & Cloud, DM/ME/MII/PCo, EWM, TM, LBN, Ariba, Analytics, and more. Our professionals offer tailor-made strategies for Industry 4.0 transformations, integrating new technologies, process design and optimization, organizational change management, IOT platform strategy and analytics, smart factory design, Lean production strategies, and Agile transformations.
The Role: The SAP PPDS Manager is expected to perform high-quality project work for our customers, build the teams capability in North America, and foster its continued growth within our Service Unit. This role requires a focused and analytical mindset and will require you to work toward set objectives with a level of autonomy, live a culture of accountability, and take a hands-on approach to execution. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. This person will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, and support new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Get involved with challenging projects in management, process, and IT consulting with a focus on discrete manufacturing
- Conduct workshops and consult, design, and lead innovative SAP SAP PP, PP-DS & QM implementations
- Act in a functional consulting role for analysis, design, conception, prototyping, realization, testing, rollout, and support
- Design concepts to process data and overall architecture to enable optimized SAP PP/PP-DS/QM implementations
- Define and design integration to other SAP modules and products, including but not limited to SAP ME, SAP DM (DMC), IBP, EWM, EAM, etc
- Prepare functional specifications for development work
- Conduct functional testing to ensure accurate configuration and development
- Assume partial project management responsibility
- Prepare process flows /training documents and execute training of our client’s business owners and users
- Manage large projects at key accounts
- Become a trusted advisor to our customers to actively shape the future of automotive and manufacturing
- Maintain profitability and financial health for the Business Field
- Recruit and retain top talent
- Ensure the development of the most relevant and innovative skills and capabilities within the team
- Create long-term relationships with clients
- Identify and lead business development and presales activities, including proofs-of-concept, demos, presentations, webinars, blog posts, RFP responses, estimations, proposals, leads & opportunities follow-up
- Take over responsibility as (sub) project team leader
- Achieve a strong reputation as a business advisor
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education.
Experience:
- At least 6+ years of relevant automotive manufacturing industry and/or consulting experience
- Successful demonstration of business development with new and existing clients
- Minimum 6+ years of SAP PP/PP-DS/QM Experience
- Minimum 3 full SAP lifecycle implementations
- Knowledge of production planning, production master data, MRP, shop floor order creation/tracking, shop floor quality, logistics, and plant maintenance processes
- Ability to define SAP PP/PP-DS/QM implementation strategy, gather functional and non-functional requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures, and implement practical business solutions
- Profound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
- Experience preparing and presenting proposals, RFP responses
- Experience preparing and presenting webinars, manufacturing events
- Must possess the necessary leadership, team building, motivation, and delegation skills to efficiently coordinate the efforts of a team toward accomplishing a common goal
- Ability to recognize and evaluate client business/technical needs and establish change initiatives to meet these needs
- Professional appearance with a strong customer focus
- Analytical and structured
- SAP Certifications are a big plus
- Experience with additional SAP modules preferred
- Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
