Your responsibilities
  • Job Description:
  • Paper Industry Pulp Mill Applications Advanced Process Controls Business Development Manager positions offered by ABB Inc. (Westerville, OH). Responsible for pulp mill advanced process controls applications business within United States market, involving such aspects as market condition evaluation, lead development, sales pursuit management, proposal development, pricing development, risk assessment and sales strategies. Ensure that firm bids and orders received are at acceptable profit levels. Initiate actions to resolve complex process control problems and foster and implement measures to achieve cost savings and ensure customer satisfaction. Organize and lead project teams consisting of various engineers and experts to respond effectively to unique business opportunities.
Your background
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in chemical engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience: performing advanced control utilizing Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Neural Net applications; applying VB.Net, C, and SQL programming languages; and applying Matlab software. Also requires 5 years of experience implementing and providing sales support for pulp mill applications; and providing engineering support for distributed control systems. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
