Your responsibilities as General Operative
* Prepare, trim, process and pack premium beef products to required standards
* Carry out visual quality checks against weight requirements and customer specifications
* Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and biosecurity procedures
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout production areas
* Move, load, unload and store raw materials and finished products safely
* Support production, warehouse and dispatch activities to keep operations running efficiently
What we’re looking for in a General Operative
* Previous food manufacturing, warehousing, production or similar experience would be beneficial, although full training is provided
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, chilled food production environment
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Understanding of workplace hygiene, food safety or health and safety procedures would be advantageous
