How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Prototype, test and validate hardware and firmware, using laboratory equipment to diagnose and resolve faults.
Select components based on performance, cost, availability and lifecycle considerations, while managing BOMs and design changes.
Work closely with firmware, mechanical, product and manufacturing teams to take designs from concept through to production.
Support EMC, safety and regulatory compliance, including relevant standards such as IEC (phone number removed) and IEC (phone number removed)-2.
Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve technical and production issues.
Balance technical requirements with cost, reliability, manufacturability and commercial considerations.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to quality, compliance, continuous improvement and sustainability activities.Essential Experience & Skills:

Proven experience designing and developing electronic systems.
Strong knowledge of embedded hardware and interfaces such as USB, I²C, SPI, UART, GPIO and ADC/DAC.
Experience with power electronics, including DC-DC converters, SMPS or battery management.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
Embedded firmware development using C, C++ or Rust.
Hands-on laboratory experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers and power supplies.
Experience taking electronic designs from prototype through to production.
Strong problem-solving, documentation and cross-functional communication skills
