Document Controller – London

A leading Main Contractor and Developer based in London is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK’s busiest contractors, recognised for delivering high-quality projects and maintaining a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors.

This is a permanent position.

The successful Document Controller will play a key role supporting the site team, design team, and wider business by ensuring accurate management and control of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

This contractor specialises in delivering new build and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors including:

* Housing Association Frameworks

* Healthcare

* Education

* Leisure Developments

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining document control systems and ensuring all project information is managed in line with company procedures and industry standards.

Responsibilities

* Oversee and manage all project documentation, ensuring information is stored accurately and in line with company protocols.

* Maintain and manage document control systems throughout the duration of projects.

* Distribute drawings, technical documents, and project information to relevant teams and stakeholders.

* Assist clients and stakeholders with system training and support when required.

* Ensure all documentation is updated, tracked, and archived correctly.

* Work closely with site teams, design teams, and consultants to maintain efficient document flow.

* Monitor document revisions and ensure the latest versions are always available.

Requirements

* Previous experience working as a Document Controller within the construction industry.

* Experience using Viewpoint, Procore, and Microsoft Office packages is essential.

* Experience working on large-scale construction projects.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
