How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Neurodevelopmental Support Worker

    Location: London – Various Locations
    Shifts: Flexible working hours
    Salary: £13.73 – £15.81 per hour (with the ability to access a % of your earnings in just 4 days or less after completing shifts!)*

    SweetTree Home Care Services is looking for a dedicated Neurodevelopmental Support Workers to our Award-Winning team. If you’re an experienced, dedicated, Support Worker with a deep understanding of individual’s needs and the importance person centred care, we want to hear from you. Your hands-on experience and your commitment to making a difference in people’s lives are what set you apart. As a Neurodevelopmental Support Worker, you’ll receive specialised training and have the unique opportunity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and clinicians. Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time positions, we would ideally require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, with a minimum of 3-hour visits per client to ensure the highest level of care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Neurodevelopmental Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients. Your duties will include:

    * Assisting with meal preparation

    * Supporting individuals with household tasks and upkeep

    * Administering medication

    * Facilitating community engagement and participation

    * Accompanying individuals on shopping trips and outings

    * Coordinating and attending medical appointments

    * Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams

    Eligibility Criteria:

    ✅Minimum 3 months’ work experience with learning disabilities and autism is a strong advantage
    ✅The ability to connect professionally and empathetically with elderly or disabled clients, even in challenging situations.
    ✅Cultivate a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence and well-being
    ✅An understanding of the needs of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders who are vulnerable within society.
    ✅Ability to administer medications, making a meaningful difference in their health journey.
    ✅Ability to help with grocery chopping and meal preparation based on clients’ preferences and needs.
    ✅Knowledge of food hygiene, manual handling, and health & safety standards.
    ✅A passion for enabling person centred care and support
    ✅The ability to maintain meticulous records and documentation
