Russell Taylor CDI are recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with our client in Warrington.
You'll be working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, carrying out cage work and working towards a permanent position.
Pay
£17.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks
£48,000 per annum once permanent
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using cages.
Your duties will include:
Completing cage deliveries and collections
Safely loading, securing and transporting cages
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Following all drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
Providing a professional service to customers
Working safely and efficiently throughout your shift
What We're Looking For
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
Reliable and professional approach
Good communication skills
No more than 6 points on your licence
