This is an excellent opportunity to receive full training while developing the skills and experience needed to become a qualified Blown Film Operator. You'll work alongside experienced operators, learning every aspect of the extrusion process in a safe, supportive, and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Operate blown film extrusion lines under the guidance of experienced operators.
* Prepare and load raw materials to customer specifications.
* Remove, palletise, and package finished products.
* Set up reels, cores, and winding equipment.
* Carry out production recording and quality sampling.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and workplace organisation.
* Follow all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
Requirements
* Keen to learn and develop new technical skills.
* Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
* Safety conscious and committed to following procedures.
* A good team player with a positive attitude.
* Able to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
* Willing to complete training and competency assessments.
Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hours of work and pay:
4 on 4 off which consists of 2 x nights at 7pm to 7am and 2 x days of 7am to 7pm.
£15.31 per hour (£33552 pa)
Overtime at varying rates (1.33, 1.5 and 2 x depending on shift)
