Earning Potential – Salary:
£18.00 – £21.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Realistic OTE: £40,000 – £45,000 (including overtime)
Overview
We're looking for an Auto Electrician to join a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Warrington. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of HGV and LCV vehicles in a brand new workshop, with plenty of work and a great team around you. Our client is a multi-accredited employer with high staff retention, manufacturer training, and genuine progression opportunities. If you're an experienced Auto Electrician ready for a stable role, this is the one.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on a range of commercial vehicles
Carrying out electrical installations and wiring repairs
Working with CANbus systems and multiplex wiring
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle lighting, charging, and starting systems
Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment for fault finding
Completing job cards and service records accurately
Working efficiently within a busy workshop team
What You'll Need
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician – commercial vehicle experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills – electrical and electronic systems
Experience with CANbus systems and diagnostic equipment
Good mechanical understanding alongside electrical work
Full, current UK driving licence – HGV licence beneficial but not essential
Relevant qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) preferred but not essential
