Functional Skills English & Maths Tutor Required (SEND Learner) - BD10
We are seeking an experienced Functional Skills English and Maths Tutor to support a learner based in BD10.
About the Role
Deliver 1:1 Functional Skills English and Maths tuition in the learner's home.
Support a learner with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Adapt teaching methods to meet the learner's individual needs and learning style.
Build a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
Experience teaching Functional Skills English and/or Maths.
Experience supporting learners with SEND and working in line with EHCP outcomes.
Comfortable delivering tuition within the learner's home environment.
Reliable, patient, and able to build positive relationships with learners.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
Relevant teaching, tutoring, or education qualifications preferred.
Pay
£30-£37 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
