How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Driver/Warehouse Operative – Temp to Perm

    📍Bradford
    💰 Days: £12.91ph | Nights: £14.82ph
    📦 Temp to Perm | Minimum 3 shifts per week
    📅 Paid induction from 30th September, with staggered taster/training days (Paid) leading to a full start from the end of October

    We’re recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a major distribution operation supporting Boots UK.

    This is a hands-on role involving the loading, unloading, sorting and stacking of retail stock for delivery to Boots stores across Yorkshire, Manchester and Hull.

    You’ll also sort Click & Collect parcels, making sure they are correctly prepared and routed to the customer’s chosen Boots collection location. This is a warehouse-based role – there is no direct customer contact or customer handover.

    Shifts and Pay Rates:

    Days: 6am–2pm | £12.91ph
    Nights: 10pm–6am | £14.82ph
    Minimum 3 shifts per week
    Start plan: paid induction on 30th September, followed by paid taster sessions and training days over the following weeks
    Full start date expected from the end of October, once workers have completed the introductory training period
    Overtime available depending on business requirements, paid after 37.5 hoursWhat You’ll Be Doing:

    Loading and unloading stock across 9 bays
    Stacking and sorting retail stock
    Sorting Click & Collect parcels to the correct routes
    Using manual pull pallet trucks
    Checking stock, codes and quantities for accuracy
    Moving stock safely to the correct dispatch areas
    Reporting damaged stock when required
    Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
    Following all Health & Safety procedures
    Working to productivity and accuracy targetsWhat We’re Looking For:

    We need people who are reliable, hardworking and comfortable with physical work.
    You should have:

    Good attention to detail and visual accuracy
    Basic numeracy and confidence working with coded stock
    The ability to work independently and as part of a team
    A good approach to safety and following procedures
    The ability to work in a busy, fast-paced warehouse
    A willingness to get stuck in and work hardDriving Opportunities:

    A full UK driving licence is desirable as there may be occasional opportunities to work as a Driver’s Mate or provide driving cover.

    Driving would be very rare and only as a last resort. The largest vehicle would be a Luton van under 3.5 tonnes, which can be driven on a standard UK licence.
